My database of over 2000 items were working but not linked properly for search engines. After lots of reading online from google, other webmasters, and lots of other resources i learned a lot of things ive been doing wrong. Ive now forced all my links to go to WWW or the proper subdomain so google and other search engines index and rank my content better. The probem is that may people will stll go to the old URL stored.
What is my plan?
Simple. I create a template for those pages that says this content or page has been moved, add a link to the new page, and add a javascript that will automatically redirect them to the new page.
Next, i manipulate each template slightly so that i can display navigation links for more content related to what youre looking at.. Games? More games. Videos? More videos. Oh, and also this allows me to make
I also noticed my 'cloud' tags are going to the wrong link probably creating redundancy and the only solution is 1) get the creator (FI-DD) to change the plugin to work differently -or- 2) remove them.. Unfortuately i am in a stale mate situation where removing them is really my only option. Oh well, they are a pointless extra, not worth messing up any rankings with seach engines.
After i then create pages to help viewers sort content (which will by no means by easy, but well worth it) all i must do is create the xml sheet for google to understand my site.
Lastly, i must not forget to theme posterous, blogger, xanga, and livejournal if possible. I need to know where my viewers are, what they are viewing, and i need to know my ads are being displayed at the same time.
Then its off to flabbr.com to make similar adjustments and modifications. Soon.. Oh soon i will be master blogger. I am very close.
It only leads me to wonder what i will uncover next that my brain will not relax over until i have completed it.
